My only request is that if you like any of what you download, mainly if it's a smaller band, a touring band, and especially an active band support them as well. Buy music and things from them directly. The only reason i have all these digital files is because I only buy vinyl and i can't really listen to that on the go or in the car. I'll quit babbling now and get to the good stuff. Today being the first day i'm going to start with a few releases.

This band played their first show yesterday with Vitamin X and The State in Fruitport, MI just outside of grand rapids yesterday. And lets just say the fucking ripped. A two man group, a drummer and guitarist/vocalist blistered through their set lightning fast and I'm pretty sure they played this entire demo. Good, Fast punk hardcore from Michigan
Next Up:

Tracklisting:
1.Too Much 21st Century

30 years after their inception as a band, after a break up, side-projects/solo projects, and everything under the sun, Bauhaus finally got back together a few years ago to play coachella festival in California. After that they did two reunion tours, one by themselves and one supporting NIN. Now finally in the first week of march they are releasing Go Away White, their final studio album. This record is much different than anything they've ever done, it has a really funky tone to it but still has that Bauhaus touch that you can't mistake, Daniel Ash's frantic guitar playing, Peter Murphy's haunting vocals, and production that is pristine. Also this entire record was recorded using Jimi Hendrix's actual vox wah wah pedal. Peter Murphy gave it to Daniel Ash as a gift before they started recording the record.
And lastly for today:

Artist: The Tangled Lines
Album: Wash The Shit Off! 7"
http://www.mediafire.com/?5yjdpo4s3nz
Tracklisting:
1.Seven On One Stroke
2.Drop The Bomb
3.All Black And White
4.An Apple A Day
5.I Won't Be Hard
6.With Make Up And A Push Up Bra
7.Spit On You!!!
8.MxRxCxBx
The Tangled Lines hail from Dresden, Germany. A female fronted punk/hardcore assault that will lay waste to your ears. Fast riffs and aggressive in your face vocals. I've actually only listened to this band for a short time now but they have been around since 2001 and played here in michigan last year. I'm kicking myself for not going at this point because this band just flat out rules.
